Ursula Tinoco is a multi-award-winning actor best known for her performances in New York's Latin theaters. She is the recipient of over eleven awards in Latin theater including several HOLA, ACE, LATA, and Talía Awards for Best Actress, Best Comedy Actress, Outstanding Solo Performance, Best Female Characterization, and Best Supporting Actress. 

Born and raised in Mexico City, she graduated from the Conservatory Program at The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in New York. She made her debut in Latin theater at Repertorio Español with the Spanish golden age play: "El Burlador de Sevilla". Throughout her career, she has performed in English and Spanish. Her work as a seasoned actor has taken her to the stages of Repertorio Español, Teatro SEA, Teatro LATEA, Thalia Spanish Theatre, and most recently to La MaMa Experimental Theatre Club. 

 

Her most distinguished performances include Confundida, ¡Por fin!, El Burlador de Sevilla, Delicadas, Psicopatía Jauja and Muerte en el Nilo. She has work for theater companies like La Alfombra Teatro, Coqui Theater, Teatro del Aire, GOTA (Group of the Arts) and she's a permanent member of the Spanish improv group Teatro 220. Newspaper Impacto Latino described her as a "well-rounded actress", “of the “highest caliber” with a "brimming stage presence".
